1.0 Reservation Policy:

  • You have to be 18 years old to book your campsite.

  • A valid photo ID is required upon check-in.

  • All requests to reserve a campsite must include the first and last name of all adults occupying the campsite and a valid credit card for a guarantee of arrival.

  • Our campsite rates are subject to change at any moment.

  • All campsites are subject to a 5.0% GST tax.

  • Group trips are fun! When booking, keep maximum occupancy rules in mind. Maximum occupancy vary for different sites throughout the campground.

  • Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed and the campsite may be reassigned. We will charge your credit card within 2 days after we have confirmed your reservation. On the day of arrival, if you do not cancel your reservation, the remaining balance will be charged in full to your credit card which is on file. The campground has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the Pre-Payment Deposit.

1.1 Standard Rate Policy / Cancellation Policy:
Please carefully read our cancellation policy. Rarely can we make any exceptions to this. All of our staff are instructed to follow these policies and rules. So to save any misunderstanding we would be grateful if you can observe the following:

  • Please plan your trip accordingly. Strict refund policies in place.

  • If the guest cancels more than 31 days in advance of their reservation, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded, less a $20 admin fee.

  • If the guest cancels between 15-31 days in advance of their reservation, only 50% of the deposit will be refundable, less a $20 admin fee.

  • If the guest cancels 14 days or less, NO REFUND will be given.

  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, NO REFUND will be given.

  • In case of a “no-show”, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non- refundable. Meaning, the total amount for your entire stay will be charged on the first day of your booked reservation.

  • There is only one way in which we can acknowledge cancellation of the guest’s reservation; the guest MUST send a cancellation request stating the reservation number via email to the following address: dutchs.coldstream@gmail.com.

  • All cancellations are confirmed via email immediately after the reservation has been cancelled.

  • Acts of god (fires, flooding, extreme weather phenomenon) are out of the Campground’s control. No refund will be given unless a direct ‘evacuation order’ is issued to the property (15408 Kalamalka Rd, Coldstream, BC).

1.2 Extending Your Stay:
After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive.
If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check- out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this can include relocating you to an alternate campsite should this be necessary.

1.3 Children Policy:
Children 5 years old or younger stay free of charge. Parents/guardians are responsible for their children's well-being within the campground. Please be aware there is a live, fast-moving creek on the property. Parents/guardians are responsible for the whereabouts of their children at all times.

1.4 Pet Policy:
Yes, we are pet friendly. BE RESPONSIBLE. A maximum of two pets are allowed per campsite. No charge. Just make sure your furry friends do their business in the designated area and stay on a leash at all times when on the property. You must pick up after your pet. If you are caught not picking up after your pet, your reservation will immediately be cancelled without a refund. Pets cannot be left unattended at the campground at any time. While there is no pet fee, your credit card on file will be charged if our staff have to cleanup after your pet. A cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file in the amount of $50.00-$100.00 depending on the amount of cleanup which will be judged by our staff. Should your pet cause property or item damage, an incidental fee will be charged at market value to your credit card on file. Any funds remaining from the pre-authorized amount will be released after check-out and, dependent upon your bank’s policy, will reflect on your account within 10 business days. No aggressive dog breeds or venomous creatures.

1.5 Campsite Policy:
We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value. Pre-existing damages or campsite issues must be reported to the front desk immediately after registration to avoid responsibility and potential charges. The campground allows guests, with permission, to receive occasional packages and special deliveries at the property. We are not responsible for the packages or their contents or the storage of them. Sing your heart out and have passionate conversation all day long, but from 10:30p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the whole property goes into hush mode for what we like to call quiet time (sleep time).

1.6 Parking Policy:
Vacations should be stress-free and for that reason, you get to park right in front of your campsite (or super close). By parking a vehicle at our campground, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord. Each reserved campsite is allowed to have ONE vehicle. Additional vehicles need to be parked in overflow parking for $10/day. Dutch's Campground does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property. If you plan on leaving your car in our parking lot for a while, not problem, just let us know, as we reserve the right to tow vehicles. Each campsite is allowed ONE vehicle. Additional vehicles will need to be parked in the overflow parking lot at an additional cost.

1.7 Watercraft Policy:
With our campground being a short 5 minute walk from one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, we have a lot of guests bring in all types of watercrafts. Guests are required to follow BC Boating Regulations as per law. Each watercraft at the campground will be charged a $10/day fee for parking. All watercrafts must be left in the boat parking. Dutch's Campground does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your watercraft or personal property. If you plan on leaving your watercraft in our parking lot for a while, not problem, just let us know, as we reserve the right to tow vehicles.

1.8 Minimum Age Policy:
All guests must be 18 years or older to confirm campsite accommodations at Dutch's Campground. A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of check in for age verification.

1.9 Guest Safety Policy:
As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, campsite number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. This includes the taking of or delivery of messages or indirect forwarding of phone calls. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and campsite number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from.

2.0 Smoking Policy:
Cigarette and/or marijuana smoke can be bothersome to other guests. Due to the fact we are a smaller campground, we want to ensure all guests are respectful to their neighbors. You cannot smoke within your own campsite. There will be a designated spot at the campground and guests will be encouraged to use the designated area. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name.

2.1 Disorderly Conduct:
Drunkenness or shameful behavior affecting other guests will not be tolerated. Have fun and enjoy your time but not at the cost of others enjoyment. ONE warning will be given for disrespectful behavior and/or disorderly conduct. After that, we will proceed with immediate eviction from the premises.

2.2 Abuse Toward Staff:
Our team members are all local, hard-working, family-orientated people. We work hard to try and give the best possible experience to all our guests. Verbal abuse will not be tolerated and the guest will be given ONE warning. Failure to comply with staff instructions will result in immediate eviction and possible RCMP (law enforcement) involvement.
